Hong Kong based Marketing Magazine has published LinkedIn’s top 10 predictions for the development of the digital marketing field in the Asia Pacific region in 2017 on the web version of their magazine. We found the predictions themselves, and the below quote from Jennifer Bunting, head of content and product marketing, Asia-Pacific, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, interesting and in line with the work we are doing to help our clients in the region.
“Companies in Southeast Asia have been slow to adopt content marketing. This is partly due to the conflict between instant gratification over ROI and the “slow burn” associated with a content marketing approach. Another hurdle is a lack of homogeneity across audiences in Asia. There’s no one-size-fits-all when you’re reaching people from Indonesia to Hong Kong.”
