Early in 2011, Bamboo carried out a reader survey in China for Seco Tools. Now they have asked Bamboo to follow up with reader surveys in four other markets: Sweden, France, Brazil and India.

Target Business World, a company producing country-specific reports for magazines, has assigned Bamboo to do translations, layout and help out with advertisements for the reports for the business magazine Fortune’s China edition.

AkzoNobel, based in the Netherlands, is the largest global paints and coatings company, and a leading producer of specialty chemicals. The company asked Bamboo to produce a Chinese language version of its award-winning A Magazine, a quarterly external company magazine of 64 pages. Bamboo already produces AkzoNobel’s magazine for China, Visions of China.

Bamboo’s managing director Jan Hökerberg is interviewed in the 2011 spring issue of Content, the member magazine for the Custom Content Council (CCC), the leading organisation for custom publishers in North America.

The agency Spoon Publishing will do a special jubilee issue of the magazine Meet Sandvik in 14 languages since Sandvik celebrates its 150th anniversary as a company in 2012. Bamboo was chosen for the Chinese language version.

Suzhou-based Suzuki Garphyttan, which develops and manufactures advanced spring wire, has turned to Bamboo for the production of a bilingual company brochure.
